Hotel Escondido by Grupo Habita is located a small walk by the beach from the house, so is Casa Wabi an international artist residence envisioned by contemporary artist Bosco Sodi and built by Japanese Architect Tadao Ando.

You can visit Casa Wabi Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:00 p.m. Architect Alberto Kallach has contributed a lot to the making of the area. He designed Punta Pajaros and Casitas by the Sea houses and gardens so as the recently opened clay oven at Casa Wabi and Kakurega – Omakase restaurant by Chef Keisuke Harada.

Reservations must be made in advance. Punta Pajaros has a newly renovated restaurant which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Reservations must be made in advance. Close to Punta Pajaros you will find Laguna de Manialtepec where you can have a boat trip, kayak or paddle boarding during sunset. An experience you shouldn’t miss. During some times of the year you can watch bioluminiscence in the same lagoon. October to March. If you want to experience Puerto Escondido’s life and restaurants you can go to Zicatela or Punta de Zicatela where you will find good restaurants and shopping. One hour away. A little further away, (about two hours) you have Mazunte, San Agustinillo, Zipolite and Huatulco. We can help with transportation arrangements.
